The Ministry of Forests invites proposals from qualified individuals or firms specializing in Project Supervision Services in the forest sector for the provision of such services in the 100 Mile House Natural Resource District. A map of the district is provided in the attached link: natural_resource_regions_and_districts_-_wall_map.png (12626×9955) Ministry of Forests Region & District Contacts - Province of British Columbia The objective of the services described herein is to provide the services on an “as and when needed” basis to support the engineering program in the upcoming fiscal year, which ends March 31, 2027. The successful proponent will be expected to provide the services to support the engineering program in the district. Accordingly, the proponent would be expected to work closely with forestry professionals and professional engineers within the Ministry of Forest, and possibly with staff from other ministries or agencies. (This contract has an option to renew for up to an additional 2 yrs. with agreement from both parties) The successful proponent must therefore be familiar with the following legislation and guidance documents: Forest and Range Practices Act, including the Forest Planning and Practices Regulation Forest Practices Code and regulations Engineering manual - Province of British Columbia Professional Services int eh Forest Sector: Forest Roads Further details as to the scope of this opportunity and the requirements can be found within this RFP.
