Description
U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) anticipates contracting on a sole source basis with Aerometals, 3920 Sandstone Drive, El Dorado Hills, CA 95762 (CAGE: 32664) to purchase one set of an Engine Inlet Barrier Filter (PN: 1060K1-3) and one UH-60 A-Kit Provisions (PN: 1060K2-3).
The proposed action will be processed as a Firm Fixed Price purchase order for items which the Government does not own specifications and/or drawings to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(i). Firms that recognize and can provide the supplies are encouraged to identify themselves. This notice of intent is not a request for a competitive proposal; however, the Government will consider all proposals received by the specified due date IAW FAR 5.203 (a). A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition is solely within the discretion of the Government.
