Tenders are invited for Energy Audit for National Irrigation Commission (NIC) and Agro Investment Corporation.
The Government of Jamaica (GOJ) has received financing from the “UK CIF Funds” which is being disbursed through the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) towards the cost of the Essex Valley Agriculture Development Project (EVADP) via the Ministry of Economic Growth and Job Creation (MEGJC) and intends to apply a part of the funds to cover eligible payments under an Agreement for Consultancy Services for an Energy Audit for the National Irrigation Commission Limited (NIC) and Agro Investment Corporation (AIC).
The Essex Valley Agriculture Development Project (EVADP) now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified Bidders from CDB Member Countries for the “Energy Audit for the National Irrigation Commission Limited (NIC) and Agro Investment Corporation (AIC)”.
Consideration will be limited to firms which are legally incorporated or otherwise organised in, and have their principal place of business in an eligible country and are either:
(a) More than 50% beneficially owned by a citizen or citizens and/or bonafide resident or residents of an eligible country, or by a body corporate or bodies corporate meeting these requirements; or
(b) Owned or controlled by the Government of an eligible country provided that it is legally and financially autonomous and operated under the commercial law of an eligible country and otherwise meets the eligibility requirements of the CDB Guidelines for Procurement (2006).
Eligible countries are member countries of CDB.
Bid documents will be available for issue at the address below, from Monday, February 26, 2018 on weekdays between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. A complete set of bidding documents can be downloaded at www.megjc.gov.jm or picked up from the address below. The documents will be promptly dispatched, but under no circumstance will MEGJC or EVADP, be held responsible for late delivery, loss or damage to the documents.
Hard copies of Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes, with the name and address of the bidder, and be clearly marked “Energy Audit for the National Irrigation Commission Limited (NIC) and Agro Investment Corporation (AIC)” and must be delivered to the address below no later than Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Bids will be opened publicly at 10:15 a.m. on March 28, 2018 in the NIC Project Office Meeting Room, in the presence of Bidders- representatives who choose to attend at the address below. LATE BIDS WILL BE REJECTED.
