Specifically, the work will be within the Operating Areas of the Smithers, Houston and Burns Lake field units of TBA. The main body of work will be along Forest Service Roads, but could also include areas associated with Silviculture, Harvesting, Engineering, and other Projects. Location maps of the Project Areas (work sites) for the Smithers, Houston and Burns Lake field units will be provided to the successful bidder during the prework meeting. The one-way travel time from the Marshalling Points of Smithers, Houston, and Burns Lake to the Project Areas (work sites) could vary between ½ hr to 2 ½ hrs. This contract contains an Option to Renew clause. For more detailed information please refer to the attached contract Schedules. Questions & Answers All contract related questions must be submitted in writing ONLY to the following email address: [email protected]. Deadline for receiving questions is 3:00 pm on June 15, 2026. If questions are received, a Question & Answer document will be posted to BC Bid by June 17, 2026.
