BC Timber Sales has legal obligations to maintain access infrastructure to meet all FRPA and SAFETY (WCB/BC Safe Company) requirements. The East Kootenay Field Team (EKFT) manages hundreds of km-s of resource roads and bridges annually. BCTS will work with the Contractor to ensure that road and bridge maintenance standards are achieved.
This is a solicitation for hourly rates (using the percentage % of the Blue Book Rate process) of specified construction equipment to perform FSR Road/Bridge Maintenance & Deactivation in the East Kootenays, (see Schedule D) as assigned within the geographic boundaries of the contract area. Bidders are to make sure they are using the Blue Book 2024-2025 version.
See Appendix VII for information on how to bid on a Blue Book hourly contract. This is a change to the previous bidding process.

Deadline for receiving questions is 12:00 pm on April 10, 2025. If questions are received, a Question & Answer document will be posted to BC Bid by April 11, 2025.
