Emergency generator for new Los station in Lødingen - Lødingen municipality - Nordland county
The Norwegian Coastal Administration is in the process of building a new Los station in Lødingen, Nordland county. The contract for construction has been entered into with Harstadbygg Entreprenør AS. The station will be used as accommodation for Loser etc. The new pilotage station will be built on one level and will contain ten cabins for the pilots, as well as lounges, kitchens, offices, meeting rooms and separate premises for the pilotage brokers. Demolition of an old building has begun and the foundation works are scheduled to start at the beginning of October, and if progress goes as planned, the new loading station will be ready for use in September 2027. To ensure continuous operation in the event of a power failure, an emergency generator must be delivered and installed. The installation of this must be adapted to the progress and close contact with the developer and the Coastal Agency.
