The services entrusted to the holder aim to develop real-time embedded software on platforms limited in material resources and energy (typically microcontroller-based and battery-powered). The services will be carried out on the CEA-GRENOBLE site, on equipment provided by the CEA (PC, cards, development environment, means of measurement and testing). Software development will be done mainly in C language, in a Linux environment, using cross-compilation and debugging tools such as GCC/GDB. A real-time micro-OS will potentially be used (for example FreeRTOS / SafeRTOS). An embedded Linux port could also be considered (OpenEmbedded). Developments will be validated according to a continuous integration methodology, based on a Jenkins server on which unit and/or system tests will be implemented, in order to ensure non-regression of software releases.
