Investigations should be carried out on a species-specific PCR basis based on eDNA analysis (qPCR or dPCR) and targeting areas where stream water restoration will be implemented. The procurement is divided into two parts: Lapland region (Simojoki watershed) and Ostrobothnia-Kainuu region (Hossanjoki watershed) The stream water restoration projects are still in the planning phase. The map appendices show the streams of state multi-use forests that flow into Simojoki (Appendix 2a Simojoki_MHMTOY streams) and Hossanjoki (Appendix 2b Hossanjoki_Lounajoki), of which the restoration targets will be chosen. The sites will be confirmed as the renovation planning progresses in the summer of 2026, no later than the end of August 2026. The service provider will take the samples after the renovation sites are confirmed during September 2026. The final report of the investigation with attachments must be delivered to the customer no later than January 26, 2027. Documents
