Repair and periodic maintenance of personnel and freight elevators located in various buildings at rrad.
***the mandatory site visit will be held on april 26, 2017***
the contractor will be responsible for the following:
the performance of the elevators, dumbwaiters, and lift platforms, verified by the contracting officer s representative (cor) to determine if any malfunctions have occurred in connection with the operation of the cars or platforms since the last maintenance inspection was performed. Malfunctions shall be corrected and defective, broken, or missing parts shall be repaired or replaced.
Bi-weekly tasks, including inspection, repair, and maintenance of: car operations, controller and selector panels, brakes, the oil collection container, motors, regulators, and generators. General cleaning will also be completed.
Monthly tasks, including inspection, repair, and maintenance of: governors, car door operators, retiring cam, wire ropes and fastenings, traveling cables, and counterweights and compensators.
Quarterly tasks, including inspection, repair, and maintenance of: hosting machines, door interlocks, guide shoes and roller guides, retractable safety door edge, hydraulic oil holding tanks, cylinder packing gland, and hydraulic pump unit.
Semiannual tasks, including inspection, repair, and maintenance of: controllers, slow down and limit switches, hoistway door equipment, hoistway, and hydraulic elevators and lifts.
Annual tasks, including inspection, repair, and maintenance of: oil buffers, machine breaks, dumbwaiters, and hydraulic elevators and lifts.
Responding to repair calls within the two-hour response time window. Repairing the elevator to functional use.please consult the list of document viewers if you cannot open a file.
