Additional Description:-The Town of Fairfield on behalf of its Department of Solid Waste and Recycling is seeking competitive bids from qualified contractors for Electronic Recycling Services, located at the Fairfield Transfer Station Site Facility, One Rod Highway, Fairfield, CT 06824. Companies must be approved as Covered Electronic Recyclers (CERs) in Connecticut in accordance with the Regulations of Connecticut State Agencies (RCSA) section 22a-638-1(b). Only approved CERs are authorized to bill manufacturers of Covered Electronic Devices (CEDs) generated by Connecticut households for the eligible costs of transporting and recycling CEDs under the Connecticut Statewide Electronics Recycling Program.
