Savance provides software for electronic in-out boards as well as hardware. The software provides for easy, real-timesolutions, that keep track of our children throughout our school age facilities. The requisition encompasses the actualhardware: 8 tablets, 4 smart boards, as well as the software licenses for the smart boards and tablets. Children choose whichroom they would like to go to via the electronic choice board. Staff keep track of our children throughout the day and parentscan pick up their children by looking to see which room they are in via the electronic choice board. Only items to be replacedfor lifecycle would be televisions, tablets and computer equipment. Minimal follow-on requirements for this project (about$6000 per FY).

This product will support our school age programs and help keep accountability within our programs. We are mandated to keepaccountability of all children, and our choice boards is one tool that we utilize. Per AFI 34-144 the school age program isrequired to “provide supervision and accountability procedures to protect children while in care.” Experiences from other AirForces Bases allow the conclusion that the software is reliable and meets the needs of our programs that focuses on schoolaged children. This software helped employees keep track of children throughout the year with no lapses of supervision andenhances the efficiency of supervision accountability duties for employees.

The system should offer a compatible hardware/software solution, consisting of smart boards, software and licenses, muster, tablets, and computers that are compatible. The interface and software should also be kid friendly and designed for the use ofchildren.
