General work description: The City of Florissant is seeking bids from qualified, licensed electrical contractors to provide on-call electrical repair, maintenance, project, and emergency services for City-owned facilities and infrastructure.Scope of WorkThe contractor shall provide normal electrical services, including but not limited to:Electrical troubleshooting, repair, and replacementEmergency electrical services (24/7 on-call as required)Minor electrical projects and upgradesInstallation, repair, and maintenance of interior and exterior lightingElectrical switches and control systemsPole work, including but not limited to:Ball field lightingTennis court lightingAssociated fixtures, wiring, and equipmentAll work shall comply with applicable codes, safety standards, and regulations.Contractor QualificationsProperly licensed and insured to perform electrical work in the City and StateExperience with municipal or commercial electrical workDemonstrated experience with pole work and outdoor lightingAbility to respond to emergency calls in a timely mannerCompliance with OSHA and safety regulationsServices will be provided on an as-needed basis. This bid does not guarantee all electrical work with the City of Florissant. Projects over $5, 000 are required to follow City of Florissant purchasing policy and require competitive bid process.
