Tender are invited for Electrical Service Contract 2026-2027
Tender Details SCOPE
This Invitation to Tender is to establish an Electrical Service Contract to provide maintenance, repair and supplementary installation to all electrical systems in eighteen (18) permanent structures at the Provincial Forest Nursery, on behalf of the Department of Natural Resources.
The term of this contract will be from contract award through May 31, 2027, with the option to renew for two (2) additional one (1) year periods upon written agreement from both parties.
OPTION YEAR PRICING
Pricing will be subject to negotiation of a satisfactory contract price not to exceed the tendered price plus any published increase in the New Brunswick Consumer Price Index (CPI). If a mutually agreed upon price cannot be reached GNB reserves the right to re-tender, re-award or delete the item(s) in question.

There will be an Optional Site Visit that will be held on the following date. Please advise if a representative will be attending prior to the meeting.

SPECIFICATION
Please refer to the attached Terms & Conditions.
Installations range over single and three-phase power, at 600, 208 and 120V. Also included are 24V control systems and seven emergency power generators with their transfer gear. The overhead powerline and transformers are serviced by Private overhead power line contractors. Electric motor repairs are done by specialized shops in Fredericton.
Service will be completed by the Contractor on a call-up basis by the Owner. Prompt emergency service on a 24-hour, 7-day week basis is mandatory; 1-hour response time is preferred. Response must be within three (3) hours. Emergency calls will be for real cause only.
