PLANNING OBJECT The construction project is a new health center to be built in the center of Kuhmo. The procurement includes the electrical design of the health center. DESIGN TASK and TASK DEFINITION The data model principle is used in the design. A design task sheet draft plans and a preliminary structural report are given as starting information. It includes e.g. object scope information and technical goals. The building will be made of wood. Small changes and scope deviations as the project becomes more detailed in the room spaces and in the space program as a whole are possible and included in the scope of the design tasks. The actual design work is done according to the more detailed design instructions given by the customer. The office selected for the task is at the beginning of planning present a quality plan for this project, which shows the organization, inspection and management of the task and the cooperation between the designers. The customer tests the functionality of the quality plan in practice. The designer comes in stages of design approve their plans with the supervisor and get them approved by the authorities before the documents are sent to the contract calculation. Making final drawings and handing over archiving sets are part of the task. When investigating system solution options the designer must be able to justify his choice with the life-cycle economics of construction, operation and maintenance costs.
