Description :The Electric Vehicle TAFE Centre of Excellence (EV TCoE) provides electric vehicle qualifications and skill sets through the use of training simulators for depowering, reinitialise, and HV fault diagnostics including batteries in a safe environment before students work on physical electric vehicles. These simulators offer a portable alternative to a full vehicle and allow trainers to introduce various faults to enrich the students' learning experience.The training simulators will be utilised in apprentice classes, technician upskill and EV TCoE projects, including the regional roadshow aimed at enhancing the skills of workers in regional and remote areas with limited access to training. Additionally, EV TCoE staff will use portable simulators for school education programs and off-site training deliveries. The necessary resources include a range of training simulators and associated training materials.
