Electoral Commission Of Sa - Project Management Software

Description :
The Electoral Commission SA conducts the parliamentary elections for the 47 House of Assembly districts and the Legislative Council every 4 years, with the next elections scheduled for March 2022. This activity engages with over 1.2 million South Australians, employs over 6500 casual staff in over 700 venues, and costs in excess of $20 million. Planning for this major event commences not long after the previous elections.
This major project has previously been managed using in house databases and supporting materials. The project management now requires increased levels of project definition, control and reporting to meet the increasing demands of the election events. To run elections smoothly and ensure that the multitude of tasks, resources and people come together without incident requires advanced project management techniques supported by high quality project management software.
ECSA does not have the resources to develop project management software either itself, in conjunction with a software development provider or by modifying another software program to perform project management functionality. Rather, ECSA requires a mature, established product with a proven track record of success as project management software.
