The va is seeking information on the following:
service disabled veteran owned small business sdvosb, veteran owned small business (vosb), or small business sources of an electronystagmography (eng)/videonystagmography (vng) system for the el paso va health care system (epvahcs).
The government intends to enter into a contractor for the purchase of 1 eng/vng system. The acquisition will take place under the authority of either far part 8 required sources of supplies and services, or part 12 acquisition of commercial items, and part 13 simplified acquisition procedures.
The north american industry classification system (naics) is 339112 surgical and medical instrument manufacturing; small business size standard is 1, 000 employees.
Any firms who wish to identify their interests and capability in the requirement must notify the contract specialist no later than 4:00 pm est (3:00 pm cst), 10/24/2018. Such notification must include any documentation that includes certifications and description of equipment that meets or exceeds the capabilities needed. Notification shall be e-mailed or faxed to jessica roman, contract specialist, [email protected], fax: 432-517-4586. Upon receipt of any such notifications, the contracting officer will determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Please note that all items must be new; refurbished or used items will not be accepted. Contractors must be authorized distributors/deals; no grey market items will be accepted.
Responses received will be evaluated, however; a determination by the government not to compete this proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
