Hongsa Power Company Limited (HPC) was formed by Lao Government and the private shareholders in 2009 to develop and operate the Lignite Mine Mouth Power Plant capacity 1, 878 MW, which will be completed in 2016 - will become Laos` highest-capacity power plant, providing a sustainable source of energy for both Laos and Thailand.
