Description : The project will be implemented in the catchment area of the kitchener drain, i.e. in the Governorates of Dakahlia, Gharbia and Kafr El-Sheikh. The Project Implementation Consultant (PIC) will support the Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities (MHUUC) and the Holding Company for Water and Wastewater (HCWW), both of which are located in Cairo, as well as the Water and Sanitation Companies located in the three Governorates. The PIC will be required to open offices in these 4 locations. The PIC will support all project stakeholders in the following:

(i) planning and managing the completion of wastewater component of the kitchener drain project;

(ii) preparing the ground for a successful transition into the operation phase; and

(iii) capacity building for managing sanitation projects.

The duration of the TA should extend over a period of 6 years to cover preparation for implementation, implementation, and the initial operating phase.
