The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), on behalf of the F/A-18 and EA-18G Program Office (PMA-265), is issuing this Sources Sought Notice as a market research tool to identify potential parties having an interest, knowledge and resources required to support manufacturing, assembly and installation of Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) 6315C3 A-Kits Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) ECP 6315C3. The NAVWAR A-Kits support aircraft integration for both United States Navy (USN) and Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) F/A-18 and EA-18G configurations.
This effort encompasses engineering and manufacturing tasks include, but are not limited to:
Manufacturing assembly planning and execution.
Structural sheet metal fabrication, machining, and finishing.
Electrical wiring harness and RF cabling assembly.
Evaluation of engineering design drawings to determine component and manufacturing requirements.
Procurement of all associated parts, specialty tooling, and raw materials.
Program reporting and quality control documentation.
The contractor shall be responsible for obtaining from The Boeing Company all aircraft data, manufacturing specifications, and proprietary specification data necessary to manufacture and install the A-Kits.
