Bureau of reclamation, upper colorado region, grand junction, colorado office, is issuing this source sought notice to determine the availability and capability of small business sources for a contemplated construction project titled: mt elbert cranes nde/modernization this notice is a tool to identify small businesses that have both the technical expertise and interest performing the work and is for information purposes only. Information obtained through this notice may be used to determine the potential for issuing a future solicitation for this project as a small business set-aside, and to provide input for the government-s overall acquisition strategy.

Description of work:
the principal scope of work for mt. Elbert cranes modernization includes, but are not limited to, the following:
1- removing and disposing of existing bridge crane motors and control equipment, electrical wiring, associated enclosures, and trolley power rails;
2- furnishing, installing, and testing new motors and variable frequency drive (vfd) crane controls, and trolley festoon power system;
3- removing and disposing of hoist ropes;
4- furnishing and installing new hoist ropes;
5- performing system checkout and commissioning, operation and maintenance training and certified crane load tests;
