Itaratarata Oy launches with this procurement notice to acquire the design consultants for the project "Eastern Track Design Tasks, Framework Agreement"
The estimate of the duration of the framework agreement is 3 years (+ 2 for two years).
The task of designer consultants is to act on the eastern track Design management control and technical preparation of design procurement purchases. The procurement is carried out in such a way that acting as a designer consultant does not cause disqualification to act as a provider for future Eastern Planning.

The main objectives of the project are to enable faster long -distance trains than at present to Eastern Finland: along the lines of Savo and Karelia to Kuopio, Joensuu and Kainuu, and connect the city of Porvoo to the railway network in the Helsinki metropolitan area. There are 2 million Finns in seven provinces in the area of influence of the eastern track.
The eastern track is designing together with several design partners, with municipalities and cities and other stakeholders.
