The Board is seeking the services of a pre-qualified Architectural Firm to provide architectural and consulting services including Design Development, assistance with Contract Documents & Tender development, and Construction & Contract Administration for the renovations as further specified herein.
The Successful Bidder will be required to design and administer the construction of the following scope.
Replacement of existing ventilation equipment with High efficiency model with AC equipped units. (roof, mechanical rms, hydronic, gas, electric will be decided during design)All new equipment to have particulate filtering to a minimum of MERV 13 filter.Upgrade/replace existing DHW tank in Gym mechanical rm.Consultant to review Electrical Loading to validate if upgrade to Primary feed is necessitated. If required, supply estimate for scope and subsequent budget change.Select window replacements. Original and outside, minus skylight (reseal, freshen up skylight), adding changeroom windows will be decided during design.Select flooring replacements.in renovated areas as per diagram # 1Select lighting replacements.in renovation areasGold level pylon sign, placed in area of current Bus Lane exit as shown in diagram #1To offset AC utilities cost, design approximately a 48 KW Net Metering DC Solar PV Array.Enhancements to front entrance canopy area, including but not limited to accessible doors(new), lighting, freshen up of the bell area and bell.Renovations to learning commons t...
