This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis (market survey). This is not a request for quote (RFQ) or a request for proposal (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The Government will not pay for any cost incurred in responding to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this Sources Sought synopsis shall be voluntary.

THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. The 673d Contracting Squadron issues this Sources Sought Notice on behalf of the 773d Civil Engineering Squadron (773 CES), to determine if there are existing small business sources capable of providing inspection and cleaning of dryer ventilation exhaust systems. This service is required to prevent and mitigate fire safety issues in lodging, temporary lodging, and dormitory facilities. Failure to perform inspections and cleanings can result in shutdown of the facilities for violations of fire and safety regulations, which would have a detrimental effect on the Installation-s mission.
