Description
The works include (a) flood storage scheme at Kong Ha and Sha Tau Kok Town, including a storage tank of about 10, 000 cubic metres, a pumping station, about 2, 500 metres (m) interception pipelines and flap valves; (b) about 1, 100 m drainage upgrading works at Kai Fong Yuen, Hang Tau, Shek Kiu Tau and Kwu Tung Road; and (c) about 1, 800 m flood walls at Kai Fong Yuen, Shek Kiu Tau and Tin Ping Shan Tsuen. The works are scheduled to commence in July 2023 for completion in October 2027.
