The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to enter into a contractual agreement with a successful bidder and select a suitable contractor to will support the Ministry of Health and Medical Services (MHMS) of Kiribati to develop the National Health Strategic Plan (NHSP) 2024-, including an implementation plan and monitoring and evaluation framework.BACKGROUNDThe Kiribati NHSP 2020-2023 guides the standard function, priority interventions and new development activities and programmes of the Kiribati MHMS. It states the noble vision of ‘‘Akea Tokin Te Tamaroa- Rikiraken Kiribati man te botanaomata ae e marurung raoi: A Healthy Population Supported by an Accessible, Equitable and Quality Health Care Services. The NHSP details 34 focus areas and 131 priority actions under six key priority areas: Reduce morbidity, mortality and disability related to non-communicable diseases and communicable diseases Improve access to and utilization of quality Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health, Health Promotion and High Impact Nutrition Intervention services.
