2026-844 Rush Creek Woods WMA Goat GrazingThe Department of Natural Resources is seeking bids for the labor, livestock, husbandry, fencing, equipment, materials, tools, transportation, and incidentals necessary for prescribed rotational goat grazing on approximately 32 acres of bluff prairie and adjacent oak savanna in the Rush Creek Woods Wildlife Management Area (WMA) in Fillmore County. The project goal is to reduce the presence of woody vegetation encroaching on the bluff prairie and oak savanna habitat. The primary target vegetation for removal includes buckthorn, prickly ash, honeysuckle, aspen, dogwood, sumac, and raspberries.All responses must be submitted electronically through the Swift Portal.
