Tender Details

Brock University is seeking a Mechanical/Electrical Contractor to act as the General (Prime) Contractor for the District Energy System Electrification project. The successful proponent is expected to engage the workforce (supplementary subcontractors and/or additional manpower) required to successfully complete the Deliverables on or before the dates specified herein. However, proponents are advised that the Controls Sub-contractor is currently being pre-selected in a separate request for proposal by Brock University. The pre-selected Controls sub-contractor must be a sub-contractor of the successful proponent for this project. The proponent shall issue a PO retaining the pre-selected Controls contractor as further outlined in this RFP.Brock University has also pre-selected/purchased equipment that shall be used in this project. The equipment will be delivered to Brock (Central Shipping and Receiving). The successful proponent shall install and test the equipment per manufacturer-s specification. A list of the pre-purchased equipment is shown below: All VFD Motors Heat Pump (DeCew Residence) Heat Recovery Chiller (Cairns Building) All Electric Boilers All Pumps.The equipment warranty shall commence at start-up and be maintained for the duration outline in technical and manufacturer-s specifications.
