The City of Benicia is a full-service city with approximately 150 miles of sewer mains, 160 miles of water mains and 1351 hydrants. The Public Works department is requesting proposals from qualified companies to perform annual system wide leak detection and on-call services for the Citys water distribution system. This will include leak detecting water mains, water service lines, valves, and fire hydrant lines throughout the City on weekdays, weekends, holidays, and after hours. Jobsites will include the Citys Water Treatment Plant, Wastewater Treatment Plant, and Raw Water Transmission Line.This service contract will cover a two-year period beginning upon contract execution in FY 2025-26 and extending through FY 2026-27.
