The anticipated procurement would support the construction of a new facility to house 3 new Combustion Turbines located in Brandon Manitoba.Based upon the information submitted in response to the RFPQ, Manitoba Hydro intends to pre-qualify up to three (3) Respondents to participate in a subsequent Request for Proposal (RFP), either individually or as part of a joint venture.BackgroundThe Work includes the provision of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) Contractor services for the development of a new approximately 750 MW dispatchable capacity facility, consisting of a combustion turbine generating station and associated balance of plant systems, to be constructed adjacent to the existing Manitoba Hydro Generating Station in Brandon, Manitoba.
