Etela Savo's welfare area Eloisa makes a direct purchase of updating the Savonlinna hospital's fire alarm system for the indefinite contract period. Savonlinna hospital uses the Siemens Desigo CC centralized control and operation system for the fire alarm system. Through it fire, fault, advance and other system alarms are forwarded to the maintenance staff. The current Desigo CC version is outdated. A system update is needed both for information security and for new functionalities and outdated server infrastructure. In addition, the current Desigo CC version limits renewal of other fire alarm infrastructure. Negotiations have been held with the supplier about the update measures needed for the current system. The offer has been requested by email and the offer has been negotiated with Siemens Osakeyhtioe. The estimated total value of the acquisition is EUR 57, 458.00 (VAT 0%). In the procurement, the existing fire alarm system set in the Savonlinna hospital is taken into account, the value of which exceeds the EU threshold value. The anticipated total value has been calculated for a period of 48 months in the case of an indefinite contract.
