The object of the contract is the supply of new applications and technological means that will improve the management and functionality of the Municipality. The selection of the proposed actions was made from the marketplace of actions of the call with the aim of serving the local needs and policies of the Municipality. These actions are: • Smart and disabled-friendly pedestrian crossings, which offer safe crossing of pedestrians & disabled pedestrians in the intervention area through automatic recognition of the presence of pedestrians and automatic light marking of the crossing where this is possible or in cooperation with the traffic lights. • Smart City / Municipality Guide with registration of local businesses, a complete solution of a Platform for Strengthening Local Entrepreneurship and promotion of business-tourist activity and cultural heritage for the Municipality. The use of new technologies is the driving force for the implementation of the project, which will make the area a tourist attraction, but also spread effectively the history and culture of the region. • Kindergarten management platform, informing parents with a smart application, which aims to organize and serve the operation of Municipal Kindergartens and Nursery Schools and remote submission and management of registration requests to them.
