We are looking for a developer for an interactive digital tourist map that presents the main attractions, tourist services, companies and the nearest airports and train stations in the Suomussalmi area. The goal is to create a user-friendly and informative map service that works smoothly and on websites and on mobile devices and supports the development of tourism in the region. The map is intended to mark for example:- nature and cultural sites- accommodation companies and eateries- other tourist services (e.g. program service companies)- airports and train stations There are less than 100 destinations in total. if possible, we would like to connect hiking, cycling, sledding, skiing and snowshoe routes to the map as well. Desired functionalities: • Clickable objects on the map, with a picture, a short description, a link to the company's own page • The possibility to filter or group objects (e.g. accommodation, attractions, program services) • Embeddability on a website (WordPress) • Responsiveness on mobile • Multilingual (Finnish / English; possibly more later) • Possibility to expand or update items in the future
