Digital postal service The goal of the Lapland welfare region is to digitize and automate mailing processes and thereby achieve savings in both the use of human resources and mailing costs. The object of the acquisition is multi-channel electronic letter sending service that offers versatile sending and receiving options. When it comes to sending, multi-channel means, for example, a printer driver feature, a web portal and open interfaces. At reception multi-channel refers to the delivery of letters to electronic distribution channels or as a traditional letter printed, unwrapped and delivered to the recipient. The acquired entity includes: 1. Electronic letter service (SaaS=Software as a service) including the system as a software service, including all necessary software and drivers 2. Printing, wrapping and mailing service of physical letters 3. Implementation of the SaaS service and adaptation to the customer's needs and environment 4. System support and maintenance services 5. System or service further development and expert services. The procurement will be tendered for a fixed-term contract period of three years. The purchase includes as an option the option to continue the purchase until further notice after the fixed contract period.
