Save the Children International (SC) through its regional office in Middle East, North Africa, and Eastern Europe (MENAEE) established the Universal Cash Assistance Network (UCAN) characterized by key features that are Child-Sensitive, Holistic, Modular, Accessible, Decentralized, and Borderless. As part of its ongoing efforts to enhancing emergency response mechanisms and Anticipatory Action, the MENAEE Regional office is starting the development of a new digital tool specifically tailored for its operations in Eastern Europe, with a particular focus on supporting efforts in the Ukraine regional responses.

The digital initiative centers around the creation of a robust Web Application (WebAPP) intended to strengthen SC staff's capabilities in anticipating and preparing for evolving crises within the targeted countries. Leveraging advanced machine learning algorithms, this digital solution will go through both historical and real-time data, enabling the system to complete thorough analyses, forecast potential events, and disseminate timely alerts to its users.
