Description : 1. JUSTIFICATION/BACKGROUND

Since 1954, UNICEF Malaysia Country Office (MCO) has worked with the Government and the people of Malaysia and has helped to transform the lives of children across the nation.

UNICEF started Private Sector Fundraising (PSFR) activities in 2008 (to fund work in Malaysia, the ASEAN region and globally), and already has over 102, 000 individual donors making regular donations.

In 2014, we setup an arrangement for the exact service. This arrangement also included the system design and code modifications to fit the requirements of the operation team. AsiaPay currently provide a product that has been heavily customised for the UNICEF fundraising operation reporting needs.

The MCO PSFR team is expanding the digital pledge fundraising efforts seeing an increase in online transactions in the last 15 months. The e-commerce landscape in Malaysia has also evolved with the growth in technologies and we want to explore additional options to ease the process for online transactions.

MCO PSFR is looking for the possibility of contracting one or more service providers for this task and will not be exclusive to a single service provider. MCO PSFR requires a service provider that can provide and support the e-commerce application payment gateway solution(s) to provide online transactions with debit and credit cards (Master, Visa, AMEX, Diners etc), FPX (online banking) option and other latest technologies (eg: mobile payment, AliPay etc...
