The University of Regina is seeking proposals from qualified Proponents to provide a comprehensive Digital Assets Management System (DAMS) for video and photography content for its growing digital asset catalogue. This system will serve as a centralized, secure, and scalable repository for storing, organizing, retrieving, and distributing photos and video. We are seeking a solution that would allow clients to browse our digital assets in a read-only environment. Once customers choose their desired photos, they would place an order specifying any edits or changes in size, etc. Once the order is received staff will complete the requested edits and send the photo to the customer. The selected system must support a range of file types and metadata standards, offer robust search and tagging capabilities, and include customizable user access levels. It should also integrate with existing platforms and allow for future scalability as the University's content needs evolve. Cloud-based or hybrid deployment models will be considered.
