Tender are invited for Procure digital archive processing services for the American Folklife Center (AFC). The goal of this procurement is to process a number of digital archival collections and generate access and preservation metadata for use in Library of Congress (LOC) enterprise systems. The work involves analyzing digital files and metadata, processing the digital content, and delivering the processed digital content, metadata, documentation and any processing tools developed for the project. Processing work includes: mapping and transforming legacy metadata to conform to LOC schemas; batch restructuring, renaming and bagging files to conform to LOC standards; extracting metadata from digital files; migrating files; and generating derivatives. Digital collections include multi-format digitized and born-digital ethnographic materials with related documentation and metadata.
