We are therefore looking for a new device that makes it possible to measure lateral and longitudinal (Sway and Surge) movement of ships without having to go on board for installation. The device must be able to easily measure movements of ships from the quay which should be forwarded in real time via an API and/or platform, thus can quickly intervene port staff when movements of more than 1 meter occur. Accuracy of the device must be 2-5 cm until the measurements we are now taking with the GPS device. Validation can be requested for a possible test. The device must be installed in a quick simple way during the ship's stay. The weight of the device may not exceed 10 kg and the battery life at a measuring campaign is ideally 72 hours; In this way we do not have to replace and/or charge too many batteries.
