Country: Jordan Description of the Assignment: The main objective of this assignment is to develop an Energy Performance Contract (EPC) model for Energy services companies (ESCOs) as an agreement between the buying organizations (the Owner) and the Energy Services Company (the Service Provider, also commonly referred to as an ESCO) and is required to be in both Arabic and English languages. EPC has become an approach for organizations to retrofit existing buildings with energy-saving and energy-generation measures. These measures improve the energy performance of their buildings, thereby reducing carbon emissions and achieving substantial annual cost savings - these savings are guaranteed by the Service Provider under the Model Contract while the ESCO is expected to adopt a project financing scheme combining debt and equity financing to deliver energy savings and/or energy generation.
