KAHRAMAA (KM), as Qatar-s sole transmission and distribution corporation for electricity and water (Competent Authority), is committed to aligning its projects with environmental protection and sustainable development goals as per national and adopted environmental regulations, policies & strategies Accordingly, KM is launching a strategic initiative to develop Comprehensive and Detailed Construction Environmental Management Plan(s) - (CCEMP(s)) for all KM-s current and future projects and activities, assess and enhance its implementation in accordance with related, but not limited, to: environmental protection requirements, environmental sustainability, best practice in environment and minimizing carbon footprint, etc. This will also have a detailed calculation system ((pollution load), (financial aspects (cost and benefit) in Qatari Riyals (QR)) for the implementation, (financial revenue (benefit) in QR for the maintenance phase) and (revenue (benefit) in QR for the operation phase), etc.) for each condition/ requirement under the above aspects.
