Description of Project:
The Corporation of the City of Sarnia is inviting qualified vendors to provide proposal submissions to complete a Highway Access Management Plan (HAMP) study, in accordance with MTO standards, for Development Area 2 and surrounding roads and provincial highway access points. The purpose of this study is to evaluate existing and future traffic operations, assess current and future performance, and identify opportunities to improve capacity, safety, and efficiency of access to the provincial highway network along Highway 40 and Highway 402.
The Successful Proponent will:
Review and analyse available information associated with proposed municipal road network and provincial highway access in the study area - past, present and future.Review and analyse information for future developmentPrepare a traffic impact study to support the HAMP Document all information on a comprehensive area wide plan of the study area. Prepare a conceptual highway access management planReview conceptual HAMP with all parties Prepare Final HAMP and Obtain ApprovalsProponent Conditions:
All Proponents submitting to the noted project are required to have all the required documents as per the specifications including but not limited to:
· Certificate of Liability Insurance
· WSIB Clearance Certificate or equivalent
· WSIB WSIR Report
This Procurement activity may be subject to the terms of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement and other trade agreements.
