CGI Suomi Oy maintains Stara's dataa platform, which has been implemented on Stara's Microsoft Azure platform. With the help of the data platform, Stara's production reporting and knowledge-based management solutions have been developed and are being developed. The purchase to be made now is related to the data platform to the needs for changes that occurred after the acquisition of the development and maintenance procurement contract. In his decision dated 5 December 2023 § 6 (HEL 2023-015165), Stara's administrative director has decided on the acquisition of the development and maintenance of the data platform. Data platform the procurement decision regarding the development has been based on Stara's 2019 tender for data collection and production control digitization service procurement, Stara's executive board decision 3 October 2019 § 79 (HEL 2019-004184), which was implemented using an alliance model. CGI Suomi Oy was selected as the alliance partner based on the competition. The maintenance of the data platform has required more changes than anticipated, due to the large number of changes to the actual Azure platform. In addition, data uploads to the data platform service have had to make clearly more changes than anticipated, which were not taken into account when making the original purchase, and therefore it was not possible to take them into account when determining the value of the original purchase of the data platform. the value without value added tax is approximately 58, 000 euros for a period of 48 months. According to the relevant decision, the value without value added tax of the contract for the development and maintenance of the original data platform is approximately EUR 96, 000 for a period of 48 months.
