Tender description: Development and maintenance of SEA:LEARN Online PlatformThe Seas of East Asia: Learning Exchange and Resource Network (SEA:LEARN), a regional knowledge management platform and gateway to authoritative resources on coastal and marine management in the region, is essential for improved management and protection of the East Asian Seas.It aims to address current gaps in data sharing, integration, and collaboration across countries and stakeholders by providing streamlined access to vital marine conservation data, best practices, and knowledge, drawing inspiration from the Global Environment Facility's (GEF) International Waters Learning Exchange and Resource Network (IW:LEARN) platform.SEA:LEARN will employ highly secure, open-source, and interoperable technologies to ensure the platform's long-term sustainability, facilitating seamless data exchange and integration with other systems. While the platform will showcase authoritative scientific and technical information, its development will prioritize making the content and its presentation easy to understand.
