The naval air warfare center weapons division, china lake, ca intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis for qty 1 job; development and feasibility study of lduuv (large displacement unmanned undersea vehicle) in accordance with far part 12 and 13. This requirement is sole sourced to airborne system n.a., air systems group, 3100 w. Segerstrom ave, santa ana, ca 92704 due to unique expertise and knowledgeable prior parachute system already under study. Airborne system north america is basing the feasibility report on a similar operational systems used for mda al-irbm, no other company has real world proven computer codes required to perform accurate modeling required. This notice is not intent for a request for competitive proposals; however, any firm believing they can fulfill the requirement may submit a written response to be received at the contracting office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice, which shall be considered by the agency. The written response shall reference solicitation number n6893618q0355 and provide a capability statement that clearly indicates the firm's experience, assets, background, and ability to perform the required work without compromising the quality, accuracy, reliability, and schedule.
