TPCL is developing a 50 MWac Ground Mounted Solar Power Project in Sampoor, Trincomalee, Sri Lanka. The scope of work includes design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, packing and forwarding, transportation, unloading, storage, installation, testing, and commissioning of the solar photovoltaic plant, including the supply of Solar PV modules and a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) of 20 MW/20 MWh. Comprehensive operation and maintenance of the SPV Plant for a period of five years from the date of commissioning of full project capacity is also required.
