Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division at China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competitive basis the following items:

Desktop Metal Furnace (PF1)- P/N DM|DMI-KF0001 with Studio System 2 Printer & Accessories - Qty 1 Lot

This requirement is manufacturer sole sourced to Desktop Metal with CAD/CAM Consulting Services, 810 Lawrence Drive, Suite 220, Newbury Park, CA 91320 as the only area authorized distributor. This metal printer and additional equipment are needed due to unique non-combustable features and capability to utilize specialty metals, of which other metal printers are not capable. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any firm believing it can fulfill the requirement identified above may submit a written response to yvonne.c.stockwell.civ@us.navy.mil no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice, which shall be considered by the agency. The response shall reference solicitation number N6893624Q0244 and provide a capability statement that clearly indicates the firm-s experience, assets, background, and ability to perform the required work without compromising the quality, accuracy, reliability, and schedule.
