Tenders are invited for Design Thinking on Big Data Analytics for Capital Market Supervision
The Financial Services Authority (OJK); as the FSS's regulator and supervisor; is working to improve the quality of FSS supervision and financial system stability monitoring. It receives various types of data from the banking sector; the capital market; and non-bank financial institutions (NBFI) on a regular basis. The data is then managed by the OJK to help with the implementation of supervisory duties and information services in the financial sector. OJK must be more responsive and active in carrying out its duties and functions as a result of the Big Data phenomenon; particularly data reporting. As a result; data management and large-scale data analysis skills are needed for more effective and predictive decision-making. As a solution; the development of Big Data Analytics (BDA) is expected to solve this problem. The development of BDA at OJK is part of the Integrated FSS Data and Information Management Architecture (IDMA) 2018-2022; which is also aligned with Information System Design (RBSI) 2018 - 2022. In addition; the development of BDA at OJK is also part of the 2021 2C Strategic Initiative (IS-2C) concerning Strengthening Suptech and IT Infrastructure in the Context of Sharpening IT-Based Integrated FSS Supervision. In the following year; BDA is part of IS-1 of 2022 Acceleration of OJK Digitalization in the context of Optimizing the Effectiveness of IT-based Integrated Oversight and Licensing Functions. Furthermore; the development of the BDA Information System Work Program (PKSI) for 2022-2023 is in line with the Destination Statement of OJK for 2023-2027; namely S.2: Improving Service Quality and Data Management in an Integrated and Transparent Manner; and with the IDMA 2023-2027 Pillar 2.4; Management and Automation Tools; as well as RBSI 2023-2027.
