The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region-s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Proposal. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids must be submitted and received by the Region no later than 1:00:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This RFP is an invitation by the Region to prospective Proponents to submit Proposals for the design, supply, and installation of a transit yard management system at three (3) garages, as further described in Part A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix A). For complete bid details, refer to the RFP documents.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENT:
Mandatory Functional and Non-Functional RequirementsThe proposed YMS solution must meet all Functional and Non-Functional Requirements listed in Appendix E. Each requirement identified in Appendix E is considered essential to the Region-s operations and must be available as part of the Contractor-s Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) YMS solution.
Any proposed YMS solution that responds “No” to, or fails to meet, one or more mandatory Functional or Non-Functional Requirements, or that proposes non-COTS functionality to satisfy such requirements, will be automatically disqualified from the evaluation process without further consideration, as it does not meet a mandatory requirement of the RFP.
