The initial funding for the concept design of the proposed Nuclear Medicine Facility includes a Technology Demonstration Facility (TDF) which will be located within an existing ANSTO building in Lucas Heights. In this context, ANSTO will be seeking a Consultant to provide the balance of plant concept design, detailed design and IFC for building and infrastructure works related to the TDF in compliance with ANSTO-s requirements and working closely with ANSTO-s Safety and Reliability team and Subject Matter Experts (SME). The scope excludes : (a) the design of the Hot Cells, (b) nuclear process/testing design such as In-Cell equipment, and (c) nuclear materials handling design. Specific scope details will be provided in the Industry Briefing to Shortlisted Tenderers and the RFT.
